Overview. We use computer based modelling techniques to understand and predict the the structural and dynamic properties of (bio)molecules including proteins and lipid aggregates. Born in 1961, I obtained a BSc (Hon 1) at the University of Sydney in 1982.
Alan D. Marks (born in Chicago in 1949, died July 12 1995) was an American pianist. He studied with Leon Fleisher and Benjamin Kaplan, and moved to Berlin in 1981, where he held a professorship at the Hanns Eisler College of Music from 1992 until his early death in 1995. Plays With. Alan Marks. Alan Marks wurde 1949 in Chicago geboren und wuchs in St. Louis auf. Er studierte an der Juilliard School in New York bei Irwin Freundlich, später bei Benjamin Kaplan und bei Leon Fleisher am Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore. Ende 1980 verlegte Alan Marks seinen Hauptwohnsitz nach Berlin.

In 1990 I moved with W.F. van Gunsteren to ETH Zurich becoming Oberassistant in 1996. In 1998 I was appointed Professor of Biophysical Chemistry, University of Groningen.
