Tracy Tormé (April 12, 1959 – January 4, 2024) was an American screenwriter and television producer, known for his work on the science fiction series Sliders and Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the film Fire in the Sky.

9. Jan. 2024 · Tracy Torme (1959-2024) Posted: January 09, 2024. Twenty-nine years ago I was a high school senior who watched Star Trek: The Next Generation and The Simpsons religiously. When a commercial during the latter advertised a show created by a writer of the former, I decided to tune in and check it out. I was hooked.
Tracy Tormé was a writer and producer of Fire in the Sky, I Am Legend and Sliders. He was the son of singer Mel Tormé and died in 2024 from diabetes complications.
