Peter Guttridge (born in Burnley, Lancashire) is an English novelist and critic. [1] Life. He was educated at Burnley Grammar School, the University of Oxford and the University of Nottingham. He is a former Director of the Brighton Literature Festival and remains a regular chairperson at major UK book festivals.
