Mahoney's Last Stand is an album by Faces bandmates Ronnie Wood and Ronnie Lane, recorded in 1972 (with sessions overlapping with the early rehearsals for the Faces' final studio album Ooh La La).

21. Apr. 2024 · During recording sessions for the Faces 1973 Ooh La La record, bass player and songwriter Ronnie Lane was approached about contributing music for a film titled Mahoney’s Last Stand. The timing was perfect as Lane had recently grown frustrated with singer Rod Stewart and questioned his loyalty to Faces.

In 1972 French-Canadian actor Alexis Kanner approached Faces’ bassist and vocalist Ronnie Lane about composing the soundtrack for the film Mahoney’s Last Stand, which I’ve never seen but from what I’ve read about it sounds like a non-comedic Green Acres.
