Darrin Shane Mooney (born 26 April 1967) is an English musician and session drummer, best known for his work with Primal Scream and Gary Moore. [1] Mooney started playing at the age of 12 at school.
Darrin Mooney drums with legendary rock/blues guitarist Gary Moore. Mooney joined Gary Moore for the "A Different Beat" tour in 1999, and has been the regular drummer on Moore's albums since. In 2002 Darrin Mooney formed and released an album with Scars, also featuring Gary Moore, and ex-Skunk Anansie bassist Cass Lewis.
