Graduates from the administrative, financial and political branches of the Mülkiye have taken on important positions in the Turkish bureaucracy, especially in the Ministries of Finance, Interior and Foreign Affairs. Mülkiye continues this duty by educating senior executives both in bureaucracy and private sector organizations today.
On March 23, 1950, with the law no. 5627, it came under the umbrella of Ankara University and was named Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences. In 1955, Mülkiye changed its status and allocated the first two years of its education and training to common courses in social sciences, and the last two years to specialization.
