Richard Claxton Gregory (October 12, 1932 – August 19, 2017) was an American comedian, actor, writer, activist and social critic. [1] [2] His writings were best sellers.
Dick Gregory galt als einflussreicher Künstler und Komiker, der sich, u. a. in seinen Stand-up-Comedy-Stücken, in humorvoller Form für soziale Belange und Menschenrechte einsetzte, so wie auch seit Beginn seiner Karriere für die Rechte von Afroamerikanern.
