Louis William Marini Jr. (born May 13, 1945), known as "Blue Lou" Marini, is an American saxophonist, arranger, and composer. He is best known for his work in jazz, rock, blues, and soul music, as well as his association with The Blues Brothers.
Lou's Blues is a big band jazz album by saxophonist Lou Marini and the Magic City Jazz Orchestra (MCJO), his first recording as a bandleader. The album was recorded at Bates Brothers Recording in Hueytown, Alabama (near Birmingham, Alabama).
Er wirkte auch in deren Filmen (in der Rolle des „Blue Lou“) mit, so in Blues Brothers (1980) und zuletzt in Blues Brothers 2000; bei deren Alben wie (Briefcase Full of Blues, 1978) war er als Solist zu hören.
