Stay with Me Tonight is the second studio album by American singer Jeffrey Osborne. It was released on July 22, 1983, on A&M Records. Osborne reteamed with frequent collaborator George Duke to work on the album which reached #25 on the US Billboard 200 and #3 on the R&B chart.
The song also showcases the incredible musical talents behind it. Produced by George Duke, “Stay With Me Tonight” features talented musicians such as Alphonso Johnson on bass, Steve Ferrone on electronic drums, and Paulinho da Costa on percussion. The collaboration between Osborne and Duke as arrangers brings out the best in this love ballad.
