Droneflower exposes a more raw, open. moody side to Nadler's music - simple, rhythmic, compressed guitar tones with smooth and evocative vocals give the album a really strong, indeed captivating start, which endures through the greater part of the work. The opening tracks, "Space Ghost" & "For the Sun" really set the tone.
