We offer year-round recreational ice-skating instruction, private lessons and Olympic-style, competitive coaching in Columbus, Dublin, Easton and Lewis Center for all ages and skill levels. The March 2024 session (March 18-May 11) is underway.

Chiller Ice Rinks
Chiller Ice Rinksat Easton, Lewis Center, Dublin and Downtown Ice Haus: Check public skate times and pricing for each location. No reservations required for public skate. Tickets are $6-$18 for ages 6 and up. Skate rental is $4. Family of 4 is $50, which includes Admission & Skate Rental – Noon Skate and Friday Night Meltdown Excluded, 5 and Under Price Does Not Apply.
The Ohio State University Ice Rink
390 Woody Hayes Drive, Columbus. Phone: (614) 292-4154 Open skating is available to the public on select dates at The Ohio State University Ice Rink. Public admission is $5-$12 per person. Skate rental is free is admission.
Lou & Gibb Reese Ice Arena
936 Sharon Valley Rd, Newark. Phone: (740) 349-6784 Public Skating at Lou & Gibb Ice Arenais available most days during select times, including a weekday noon skate for only $5. Admission $3-$12, skate rental is $3.
Most outdoor ice skating options won’t open until the weather is consistently cold and below freezing for a period of time. Please check links to verify if outdoor rinks are open. Don’t skate without checking the links or signs at location.
Merry on Main Iceless Ice Skating
December 9, 2023 – January 2, 2024 Iceless Ice Skating at Partners Park (125 E. Sixth St.) A holiday favorite returns for another year! Skating is FREE for residents and visitors of all ages. Skates are provided for FREE. The rink is 72′ x 40′ with perimeter fencing and outdoor heaters. The rink capacity is 80 skaters and is staffed by CPR/First Aid trained and background checked employees.

Intricate and challenging, beautiful and athletic, figure skating is the sport for all ages and skill levels. The OhioHealth Chiller offers private and groups lessons, including the United States Figure Skating Association's Basic Skills Program.
The OSU Ice Rink is home to the 2022 NCAA Champion Ohio State Buckeyes Women's Ice Hockey Team. Conveniently located next to St. John Arena, the ice rink can seat up to 1,500 for competitions. In addition to it's use as a competition venue, it houses a Skate Shop and open ice time.
