Lullabies to Paralyze is the fourth studio album by American rock band Queens of the Stone Age, released on March 22, 2005. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200, and sold 97,000 copies in America during its first week of release, eventually topping over 342,000 copies as of March, 2007 according to Nielsen Soundscan.

März 2005 veröffentlicht. Es ist das erste Studioalbum nach Nick Oliveris Rauswurf und gleichzeitig das erste Album mit Troy Van Leeuwen und Joey Castillo.
Of the album’s legacy, Homme believes Lullabies to Paralyze should be remembered both for its music and what it overcame.

Lullabies to Paralyze is a mixed bag of tricks. With Bass Player and long time cohort Nick Oliveri gone, limited appearances from fan favorite Mark Lanegan and Dave Grohl permanently replaced by Joey Castillo, things have changed, and yet some have stayed the same or gone in reverse.
