Drummer Thom Mooney and vocalist/keyboardist Robert "Stewkey" Antoni joined soon after. The group is best known for their debut single "Open My Eyes”, and "Hello It's Me". During 1968 and 1969, the Nazz released two albums (Nazz and Nazz Nazz).

5. Apr. 2024 · Thom Mooney began his music career in 2018 but released his first album in January 2020. Titled “Sipping on Life,” the project featured six tracks that showcased his talent, lyricism, and songwriting.
Drummer Thom Mooney, who retained possession of the master tapes, was contacted by SGC Records in 1970. When he refused to give over the tapes, saying he did not want the material released, SGC threatened legal action, since the tapes were the property of the label.

Playing lead guitar and bass, respectively, Rundgren and Van Osten were joined by drummer Thom Mooney (formerly of the Munchkins) and lead vocalist/keyboardist Stewkey (born Robert Antoni). The Nazz had their first gig in July 1967, landing an opening slot at a Doors concert.
