John Laird Abercrombie (December 16, 1944 – August 22, 2017) was an American jazz guitarist. [1] [2] His work explored jazz fusion, free jazz, and avant-garde jazz. Abercrombie studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He was known for his understated style and his work with organ trios. [3] Career.
3. Nov. 2006 · I was not familiar with Jeff Palmer, but will always lend him credit after hearing Ease On. It's not so tight and easy that it will become boring. Not abrasive either. This album moves along very comfortably with a fun and exciting tempo. Holds interest over and over. Would highly recommend.
