The Moscow Suvorov Military School (MsSVU) is a military educational institution of secondary education of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. It was the first of the Suvorov Military Schools founded in the Soviet Union.

1. Okt. 2014 · Today, the Moscow Suvorov Military School celebrates its 70 anniversary. First pupils it took October 1 1944 of the year. Among them were many orphans, pupils of units and formations of the Red Army, children who fought in the battles of the Great Patriotic War.
Suvorov military schools were established during the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945 for the children of soldiers and partisans, as well as for orphans whose parents perished in the war. The schools were named after Russian military commander Alexander Suvorov (1730–1800).
