Peter Leslie " Dino " Dines (17 December 1944 – 28 January 2004) [1] [2] was a British keyboard player, best known for his work as a member of T. Rex. He was also a member of the Apostolic Intervention and the Keef Hartley Band.
As Bolan had been the only constant member of T. Rex and also the only composer and writer, his management disbanded the remaining group (keyboardist Dino Dines and drummer Tony Newman - there was a vacancy for bassist) immediately upon his death.

Die folgende LP Bolan's Zip Gun (bis auf zwei Titel bereits 1974 eingespielt und somit noch unter Mitwirkung Finns), war zunächst als Marc Bolans Soloplatte geplant, erschien aber letztlich doch unter dem Bandnamen T. Rex. Für die Aufnahmen hatte Bolan die Gruppe um den Keyboarder Peter „Dino“ Dines erweitert.

The idea for this came about after the success of the Tony Newman Q&A. Contact with Dino was achieved via Caron at T.Rextasy who kindly passed on a list questions from the T.Rex and Till Dawn Lists lists.
