Peter-John Vettese (born 15 August 1956), also known as Peter Vettese, is a Scottish keyboardist, songwriter, arranger and record producer. Vettese is perhaps best known for being the keyboardist for progressive rock band Jethro Tull for most of the 1980s.
The genetically flawed brother (who had a heart condition) not only swam further but rescued his brother from exhaustion and subsequent near drowning. Back on shore the perfect brother asked how he managed to beat him. The answer was ” I didn’t save anything for the swim back”.

Peter-John Vettese. Scottish-born Peter-John Vettese began his music studies, like many people, with piano lessons as a child. After various musical adventures, he eventually hooked up with Jethro Tull in 1982 as keyboardist.
Peter John Vettese is known for The Art of Racing in the Rain (2019), Hold Back the Night (1999) and Never Ever (1996).
