'Sugar Cane' hatte vorher schon vier Soloplatten eingespielt und gründete nach "Fiddler On The Rock" zusammen mit Mandel eine Formation namens Pure Food And Drug Act. Mit dieser Band wurde 1972 ein Livealbum aufgezeichnet, von dem hier fünf der acht Songs als Bonustracks vorliegen.

Bei der mit Berendt zusammenarbeitenden Plattenfirma MPS entstanden in den Folgejahren einige Platten von unterschiedlicher Qualität, unter anderem das Album Fiddler on the Rock . Danach wurde es eine Zeit lang still um Harris. Erst in den späten 1970er-Jahren ging er als Mitglied der John-Mayall-Band erneut auf Tournee.
