  3. Merchant Taylors' School is an 11–18 boys public day school, founded in 1561 in London. The school has occupied various campuses over its lifetime. From 1933, it has been located at Sandy Lodge, a 285 acres (115 ha) site close to Northwood in the Three Rivers district of Hertfordshire. [3] .

  7. Die Merchant Taylors’ School wurde 1561 von Thomas White und Richard Hilles gegründet. Die Schule befand sich ursprünglich in einem Haus mit Namen Manor of the Rose im Bereich der Kirchengemeinde St.Lawrence Pountney in London. Die Schule gehört zu den neun Schulen, die im Public Schools Act von 1868 genannt werden.
