Sara Khatun (Azerbaijani: Sara Xatun) was an influential woman of the Aq Qoyunlu state, as the political adviser of her son, Uzun Hasan (r. 1457–1478). She was a successful and well-respected diplomatic mediator.

Sara Khatun came to have great political influence during the reign of her son Uzun Hassan, the mighty ruler of the Azerbaijani state of Agqoyunlu.
Sara Khatun presided over the Agqoyunlu envoys, who held negotiations with the Teymuri ruler Abu Said (1468). This Azerbaijani lady was well-known and highly respected in the European countries as well.
