Original guitarists Johnny Goodfornothing (a.k.a. John Goode) and Neil Harris were replaced by Dave Parsons, and drummer Billy Bostik (a.k.a. Andy Nightingale) by Mark Cain. Albie Slider (a.k.a. Albie Maskell) remained for the group's first single in 1977 before being replaced by Dave Tregunna.

Sham 69 was formed in 1975 with the members Jimmy Pursey, Neil Harris, Albie Slider, Billy Bostik and Johnny Goodfornothing. The band played at many of the famous punk hotspots during this time, performing fan favourites such as ‘Borstal Breakout’ and ‘Hey Little Rich Boy’.
Sham 69 was born in 1976 when Jimmy Pursey got together with Neil Harris (guitar), Johnny Goodfornothing (guitar), Albie Slider (bass) and Billy Bostic (drums). They were nothing more then a cover band, but as the "punk" scene grew so did they. Quickly, more fans tagged along to see them play and Pursey decided some changes were to be made.

Sham 69's British punk band that was founded in 1976. Frontman Jimmy Pursey, who in the original lineup complemented Neil Harris, Johnny Goodfornothing, Albie Slider and Billy Bostik. The band broke up in 1980, but seven years later in 1987, it has since restoration that takes restyled assembly today. {gt}
