Randall Herman Meisner (March 8, 1946 – July 25, 2023) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and founding member of the Eagles. Throughout his professional musical career, Meisner's main role was that of bassist and backing high-harmony vocalist as a group member and session musician.

The Meisner, Swan and Rich band was formed out of Black Tie after Jimmy Griffin left Black Tie. Charlie Rich, Jr. (AKA Allan Rich) replaced Jimmy Griffin in 1992, and the band name was changed from Black Tie to Meisner, Rich and Swan.
