Despite its misleading title Britannia is a series of comic books set in the 1st Century during the reign of the Roman Empire under emperor Nero. It features Antonius Axia, a Roman centurion who becomes the First Detectioner and is sent onto different missions starting in borderlands of Britannia.

Britannia is a four-issue limited series published by Valiant Entertainment in 2016. The series is written by Peter Milligan, with illustrations primarily by Juan Jose Ryp, and features Antonius Axia, a Roman centurion who becomes the "First Detective" during the times of Emperor Nero.
