Ralph Gordon King-Milbanke, 2nd Earl of Lovelace (2 July 1839 – 28 August 1906) was a British author of Astarte: A Fragment of Truth concerning George Gordon Byron, Sixth Lord Byron.

Earl of Lovelace, 1893, erbte daraufhin dessen zweiter Sohn Ralph den Titel als 2. Earl of Lovelace, der seit dem Tod seines älteren Bruders, 1862, bereits 13. Baron Wentworth war. 1861 hatte dieser mit königlicher Lizenz den Familiennamen „King-Milbanke“ angenommen.
In 1861, Ralph had assumed by Royal licence the surname of Milbanke in lieu of Noel. The 2nd Earl of Lovelace had no sons and was succeeded in the barony of Wentworth by his only child, Ada King-Milbanke, 14th Baroness Wentworth. His other titles passed to his half-brother Lionel (1865–1929), the 3rd Earl.

Biography. 2nd Earl of Lovelace. During 1847-8 Ralph was a pupil at Wilhelm von Fellen berg's Pestalozsian school at Hofwyl, near Berne. On 14 November 1860, Ralph received a Royal Licence from Queen Victoria to take the name of Milbanke instead of King, and to quarter the arms of Milbanke with that of King.
