Flora Lamson Hewlett (August 14, 1914 – February 9, 1977) was an American billionaire philanthropist.
Flora Lamson Hewlett (1914-1977), born and raised in Berkeley, was a member of a long-time California family. She received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of California in 1935. She married William R. Hewlett in 1939, and the couple raised five children.
The Flora Lamson Hewlett Library is the central library of the Graduate Theological Union. Located on the summit of the "Holy Hill" area of Berkeley, California, its collections comprise one of the largest collections of theological works in the United States, with over 500,000 volumes as of 2014.
