  2. Joe Jammer. Joe was born in Chicago where he later played alongside Howlin' Wolf and other bluesmen. He visited the UK to record a solo album for EMI in 1973. He became a prolific and respected Sessioneer, having worked with Martha Velez, Jimmy Witherspoon and toured with Maggie Bell.

  3. After forming The Joe Jammer Band, songs were recorded and he opened for Zeppelin, including the prestigious Festival Of Bath in June 1970. Jammer later went on to play guitar for European singer Maggie Bell, the opening act on Bad Company's 1975 world tour.

Given his name by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant when he started working for Led Zeppelin in 1969, he came over to UK in 1970 and became a top session guitarist collaborating with Jerry Lee Lewis, Stealers Wheel, Roger Glover and the Rolling Stones.
