Martín Walter López Cardozo (born 20 May 1978 in Stockholm) is a Swedish-Uruguayan drummer, currently a member and co-founder of progressive metal group Soen, but best known as the ex-drummer of Swedish progressive metal band Opeth and melodic death metal band Amon Amarth.

Geschichte. Die Band wurde im Jahr 2004 von dem Schlagzeuger Martin Lopez (ehemals Opeth, Amon Amarth) und dem Gitarristen Kim Platbarzdis gegründet. [1] Der Name der Band geht auf Lopez zurück, wobei dieser keine Bilder im Kopf der Fans hervorrufen solle, damit man sich vollkommen auf die Musik konzentrieren könne.
