Heartbreakers 'L.A.M.F. - the FOUND '77 masters'. On release in 1977, Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers' 'L.A.M.F.' had a mastering fault, widely condemned as a 'muddy mix'. Track Records went bust and the master was lost - so subsequent releases were compiled from outtake or re-mixes.

This release represents an effort by Jungle Records to fix the poor sound of The Heartbreakers (2) - L.A.M.F., originally released by Track Records in 1977. Mixing the albums sessions made at Essex and Ramport Studios was difficult and several mixes were rejected before "L.A.M.F." was released by Track Records in 1977.

Zum Record Store Day 2021 erschien die Vinylversion dieser „richtigen“ L.A.M.F.-Fassung, bald darauf folgte die Doppel-CD, die als Bonus Demoaufnahmen aus den Jahren 1976/77 enthält. Uns liegt nun diese RSD-Version vor sowie ergänzend die LP-Version der Demo-Sessions.
Erstmals erschienen als begehrte Vinyl-LP zum RSD im Juli 2021, kommt diese CD-Version jetzt zusammen mit einer Bonus-CD - 'the L. A.M. F. demos, plus'; eine 19-Track-Sammlung von vier Demo-Sessions aus den Jahren 1976-77 und drei Tracks von Singles.
