  1. On 1st September 2020, five new faculties started their operation: Faculty of Archaeology, Faculty of History, Faculty of Sociology, Faculty of Philosophy, and Faculty of Culture and Arts. As of 1st September 2022, the Faculty of Medicine was opened (the first students of medicine will begin the studies on 1st October 2023).

Participants of the international conference “AI, Philosophy and Religion” considered both fundamental questions about artificial intelligence and showed the results of tests and research showing its current capabilities.

  6. Currently, the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Warsaw is one of the leading centres for philosophical studies in the region. In addition to classical philosophical teaching, the Faculty offers courses of study in Cognitive Science, Bioethics, as well as a philosophy program conducted in English.
