Those bands were "The United Sounds", "Blue Truth" and "Power". That reputation would place him in the studio with the Allman Brothers Band for the recording of the Brothers & Sisters album. He played guitar harmonies with Dickey Betts on the well-known song "Ramblin' Man" and acoustic guitar on "Jessica".

Jan. 2023 · Guitarist Les Dudek, who plays electric on “Ramblin’ Man” and acoustic on the instrumental “Jessica,” insists he was supposed to join the band permanently, an assertion vehemently denied by the other musicians, who also bristled at his attempt to get a co-writing credit with Betts on “Jessica.”
Auf der LP/CD "Brothers and Sisters" wirkte als zweiter Gitarrist neben Dickey Betts auch Les Dudek mit. Er war auch bei einigen Live-Auftritten dabei, die nach der Plattenveröffentlichung liefen. Les Dudek brachte selbst einige Platten heraus, u. a. Ghost Town Parade. Sein Gitarrenspiel kam dem von Duane Allman sehr nahe.
