Tesla is an American rock band from Sacramento, California. In late 1981, bassist Brian Wheat and guitarist Frank Hannon formed a band named City Kidd, which evolved into Tesla. [1] .
Joey Murrieta was a guitarist for the band in 1983, before Tesla’s breakout. His time with the band was during a period of transition and growth as they moved away from the City Kidd identity and towards becoming Tesla.
