Jason Becker konnte, nachdem bei ihm ALS diagnostiziert wurde, nicht mehr an der Tournee zum Album teilnehmen und schied aus der Gruppe aus.
Im Alter von 20 Jahren wurde Becker in David Lee Roths Band aufgenommen und spielte deren Album A Little Ain't Enough ein. Während der Aufnahmen verspürte er ein nach seinen Aussagen „schlaffes Hängen“ seines linken Beines.
