Vincent James Lovegrove (19 March 1947 – 24 March 2012) was an Australian musician, journalist, music manager, television producer and AIDS awareness pioneer. He was a member of 1960s rock 'n' roll band The Valentines , sharing vocals with Bon Scott whom he later introduced to heavy rock group AC/DC .
MUSIC pioneer and AIDS activist Vince Lovegrove, who had a life that was touched by tragedy, was killed in a car accident on the far north coast on the weekend. Police said a Volkswagen Kombi was travelling along Binna Burra Rd near Federal, inland from Byron Bay, when it left the road and rolled between 1am and 3am on Saturday.

Members of Cold Chisel, The Angels and Gang Gajang joined hundreds of Lovegrove's friends and family at Bondi Pavilion on Friday to celebrate the life of the 65-year-old journalist.
