Jazz, jazz fusion. Instrument (s) Guitar. Hiram Law Bullock (September 11, 1955 – July 25, 2008) was an American guitarist known mainly for playing in jazz funk and jazz fusion, but he also worked as a session musician in a variety of genres.
Blue Matter is a studio album by jazz guitarist John Scofield, released in 1986. It is the first of three recordings featuring Gary Grainger on bass guitar and Dennis Chambers on drums. The keyboards are played by Mitchel Forman with Don Alias providing percussion. Hiram Bullock is featured as second guitarist on three tracks.

11. März 2024 · Mitchell Forman was on keyboards while guitarist Hiram Bullock and percussionist Don Alias also played on this great John Scofield album. The tracks feature some strong melodies set to heavy funk riffs. In contrast, ‘Heaven Hill’ shows a gospel influence while Scofield digs deep to solo on ‘The Nag’ against a fast descending bassline.
