So Alone is the debut solo studio album by Johnny Thunders, then leader of the Heartbreakers and formerly lead guitarist for New York Dolls. The album was released on 6 October 1978 and was produced by Thunders and Steve Lillywhite.

15. Juli 2016 · So Alone, released in 1978, was bolstered by Chrissie Hynde, Steve Marriott and Brooklyn chanteuse Patti Palladin. Conspicuous by his absence was Sid Vicious, who had by now decamped to New York City to make some live appearances, backed by The Idols. Vicious’s subsequent death had a devastating effect on Johnny.
Stephen Peter Marriott (30 January 1947 – 20 April 1991), known professionally as Steve Marriott, was an English musician, guitarist, singer and songwriter. He co-founded and played in the rock bands Small Faces and Humble Pie, in a career spanning over 20 years.

20. Apr. 2024 · Am 20. April 1991 verstarb Steve Marriott in seinem Zuhause in Arkesden in Essex, England. Am frühen Morgen jenes Tages wurde die Feuerwehr von einem Autofahrer verständigt, dem aufgefallen war, dass Marriotts Haus in Flammen stand.
