Robert Lenard Bogle (January 16, 1934 – June 14, 2009) was an American musician who was a founding member of the instrumental rock band the Ventures. He and Don Wilson founded the group in 1958. Bogle was the lead guitarist and later bassist of the group.

Biographies. In 1958, Bob Bogle and Don Wilson, formed the nucleus of the original music group, The Ventures. The duo was joined a few years later by Nokie Edwards to record “Walk, Don’t Run”. The song hit Billboard’s Singles Chart on July 18, 1960 and peaked at #2.
