The Reichsbrücke (German for Imperial Bridge) is a major bridge in Vienna, linking Mexikoplatz in Leopoldstadt with the Donauinsel in Donaustadt across the Danube. The bridge is used by 50,000 vehicles per day and carries six lanes of traffic, U-Bahn tracks, two footpaths, two cyclepaths and two utility tunnels.
Vienna has more than 1,700 bridges – four times as many as Venice. Also architecturally interesting are the many historic fountains that embellish Vienna's cityscape.

The Augartenbrücke is a bridge that crosses the Donaukanal in Vienna, which connects the 9th district and the 1st district (Innere Stadt) on the southwest side of the canal with the 2nd district, Leopoldstadt, on the northeast side. There has been a bridge on the site since 1782.
As shown in this drawing, Wagner's design for the Ferdinandsbrücke, a bridge named in honor of Archduke Francis Ferdinand, is one of his frankest expressions of the techniques of modern engineering. The bridge's steel truss spans the Danube Canal in a low, broad arch.
