SUNY Maritime College is the oldest and largest maritime school in the country, offering undergraduate programs in engineering, naval architecture, marine transportation, and more. Located in Bronx, New York, it has a 55-acre campus, a training ship, and a Regiment of Cadets.
Undergraduate Degree Programs. Undergraduates may pursue one of 10 bachelor degrees or an associate degree. Many of the degree programs allow students to pursue a U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) deck or engine license, which qualifies them to work onboard a commercial vessel.
