In April 2008, a delegation of 36 Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art administrators and students visited Ohlone College, and conducted 4 dance performances for the Ohlone and Fremont / Tri-Cities communities. The Zhejiang group performed in front of near-capacity crowds at the Ohlone College Gary Soren Smith Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. They also visited Ohlone performing arts classes, and engaged in cultural exchange activities and conversations with Ohlone College students.

Ohlone faculty members Dennis Keller and Tim Roberts spent two weeks of the summer of 2008 in Hangzhou, China, as part of an Arts exchange program between Ohlone College and the Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art.
