Bill Summers (born June 27, 1948) is an American, New Orleans based Afro-Cuban jazz / Latin jazz percussionist, a multi-instrumentalist who plays primarily on conga drums. Career.
Summers has been very busy in recent years. He and trumpeter Irvin Mayfield are the leaders of Los Hombres Calientes, a group formed in 1998 along with drummer Jason Marsalis.
