Allan Glaser is an American film producer known for the feature films Lust in the Dust and Tab Hunter Confidential . Early life. Glaser was born in Norfolk, Virginia. While attending the University of Southern California, he was employed by 20th Century Fox Television on such shows as M*A*S*H, Trapper John, M.D., and Dynasty .
Hunter, a longstanding horse owner, wrote the original story and co-produced the film with his life partner, Allan Glaser. Hunter's autobiography, Tab Hunter Confidential: The Making of a Movie Star (2005), co-written with Eddie Muller, became a New York Times bestseller, as did the paperback edition in 2007.
