Troy Tate. Profile: Guitarist, vocalist and producer from Liverpool (UK). In 1981 he joined The Teardrop Explodes; two years later he left them. He auditioned successfully and toured with Fashion in 1982 but left before any studio recordings took place.
Armed with an impressive résumé (the Index, Shake, The Teardrop Explodes, Fashion) dating back to ’77, singer/guitarist Troy Tate made his solo debut with the assistance of an eclectic set of musicians, including David Balfe, Nicky Holland, Virginia Astley and Woodentop Rolo McGinty.
