  5. History. London Central High School (commonly known as "LCHS" or just "Central") was established in 1951 at Bushy Park, in South West London, for students in grades 7 through 12. Subsequent base closures led to two moves: to Bushey Hall in 1962, and to RAF Daws Hill, its final location, in 1971.

  7. About Us. London Central Secondary School is the oldest school in the city with a history that can be traced back to a Grammar School of 1826 near the forks of the Thames River. When this Grammar School became too small, a Union School was erected which was named Central School in 1865.
