  3. St. Joseph Academy was a parochial school in present-day Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The private day school for girls opened in 1875. It was located on East Rich Street, and eventually the campus operated from Rich to Main streets, and from Sixth to Seventh streets (later Grant Ave.).
