In the late 1970s, and through the early 1980s, Crawford was featured vocalist on several of Hamilton Bohannon's singles and six of his albums, including his biggest US single hit "Let's Start the Dance".
Both Mercury albums were produced by Hamilton Bohannon, and she became the featured vocalist on several of Hamilton Bohannon's singles and six of his albums, including his biggest U.S. single hit 'Let's Start the Dance'.
She sang backup vocals for many of the early Motown artists, recording her first solo venture in 1964. She left Motown in 1965 and would go on to work with Hamilton Bohannon becoming his lead singer. Caroline released a few solo albums in the late 70s.
