Donald J. Bonebrake (born December 8, 1955) is an American musician who first emerged as the drummer of the punk rock band the Eyes (also featuring Charlotte Caffey of the Go-Go's). He is best known as an original member of and drummer for punk band X , of which he is still an active member.

The Knitters — Doe, co-lead vocalist Exene Cervenka, guitarist Dave Alvin, bassist Jonny Ray Bartel, and drummer D.J. Bonebrake — have been rambling a tangled map of American musical highways since way back in the 20th century.
Drummer and vibraphonist from Los Angeles (CA, USA). He began drumming at the age of 12, and studied classical and traditional music. His first band was called Rocktopus, and via this band he came into contact with the underground rock scene and joined Eyes and some time later X (5).
