Martin Carthy (* 21. Mai 1941 in Hatfield, Hertfordshire) ist ein britischer Folk sänger, -gitarrist und Mandolinespieler. Leben. Carthy trat in den späten 1950ern und frühen 1960ern zunächst mit einer Skiffle-Band namens The Thameside Four in verschiedenen Cafés in London auf.
Because It's There is an album by Martin Carthy, released in 1979. It was re-issued by Topic Records on CD in 1995.
