Bretton Hall College of Education was a higher education college in West Bretton in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England. It opened as a teacher training college in 1949 with awards from the University of Leeds. The college merged with the University of Leeds in 2001 and the campus closed in 2007.

By the end of the century Bretton Hall was a college of education, arts and humanities with over 2000 students. In 2001 the popularity of studying theatre and performance led to further expansion and saw the creation of the School of Performance and Cultural Industries at Bretton Hall College.

26. Sept. 2020 · The college opened on 25th September 1949. Its occupants consisted of the principal, six tutors (in Education, English, Art, Music and PE) and 56 students (26 women and 30 men).
17. Juni 2018 · Early in the new century, the remaining courses had been brought within the University of Leeds own School of Performance and Cultural Studies and in 2007, Bretton Hall College was finally closed. Meanwhile, English Heritage had studied the Hall and its historic landscape.
