The book is a must-read especially for its concise analysis of Islam, which it explains as one of five central Christian heresies. It shows Islams appeal in the early years based on the promise (often not kept) of riddance of debts and slavery, and its great simplicity, which (typical for a heresy) made it attractive to the masses.
