David Anthony Guy is an American trumpet player and member of The Dap-Kings. Over his more than two decade career, he has been part of the groups Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Menahan Street Band, The Budos Band, and Lee Fields & The Expressions, among others.

Dave Guy is a versatile and accomplished trumpet player who has toured, recorded and performed with various bands and artists, including Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars and the Roots. He graduated from the New School for Contemporary Music and is also part owner of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings.
